Roger D. White

Roger D. White, 63, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006.Roger was born November 23, 1942 in Johnson County, Texas the son of Paul Eugene and Dorothy Marie Dickerson White. Roger worked for Southern Airways during his early 20s. He started Weatherford Appliance in 1972, winning many sales awards that furnished trips to London and Canada. Roger helped start the Parker County Fire Department and was a volunteer fire fighter for the Weatherford Fire Department.Roger never met a person that he was not friends with. He will be sorely missed.He was preceded in death by his father, Gene White in 1965.Survivors include wife, Elaine White of Springtown; sons, Roger Dale White Jr. and wife, Tamara of Fort Worth, Andy White of Springtown; daughter, Sherri Parker and husband, Jody of Weatherford; mother, Dorothy White of Granbury; brother, David White and wife, Bernice of Weatherford; sisters, Jenabel Stacy of Granbury and Sandra Morin of Leander; grandchildren, Toby and Matthew Parker of Weatherford; one aunt, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2006 at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Burial will follow in the Zion Hill Cemetery,
