Mary Catherine Gilbert

Mary Catherine Gilbert, 87, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2006. Funeral: Memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of N. Central Texas, 101 Summit Ave, Ft. Worth, TX 76102. Mary Gilbert was born May 26, 1919 in Crossville, Alabama, the daughter of Francis and Willie Lowery Milner. She had been a resident of Ponca City for over 40 years. Mrs. Gilbert was a former member of First Baptist Church in Ponca City. She owned and operated with her husband the East Hartford Conoco Service Station for nearly 30 years. Mrs. Gilbert was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm in 1994. Survivors: Sons, Malcolm W. Gilbert and wife, Elaine of Sasktoon, Canada, Tim Gilbert and wife, Karen of Dallas; daughter, Lovera L. Campbell and husband, Doug of Tulsa; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two brothers.
