E. E. "Papa Gene" Welch, 70, of Springtown, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2006.A graveside service will be at Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas on Saturday, June 24. Erven Eugene was born May 15, 1936. He was loved very much and will be missed by his family. Survivors: wife, Gayle; children, Tony Holmes and wife, Kim, Tammy and husband Carl Russell Jr. and Clint Holmes; ten grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Taylor, Anna Lois Guiterrez, Helen Childress and Bertha Lee Childress; numerous nieces and nephews.
