Agnes Elizabeth Fallin, 91, passed away peacefully from this life Tuesday, July 18, 2006, in a Fort Worth hospice center surrounded by loving children. She had been residing at Sliver Creek Place, an assisted living center in Azle, for the past year.Funeral: 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 21st at First Assembly of God Church in Azle. Burial: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Agnes Elizabeth Fallin was born July 4, 1915, to Walter and Isabel Adams in Morgan Mill. She married her lifetime companion, Jay Fallin, on July 6, 1933, in Bluff Dale. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1983. Three children blessed this union: Dorothy, Kenneth and Gloria. After rearing three children, she entered the workforce with E. B. Mott variety stores. She retired from Mott's after 23 years of service. In 1975, she and her husband moved to Azle in retirement. She had previously lived in Fort Worth for 36 years. She taught Sunday school for 55 years and was a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Agnes loved working with children and spent five years working for a daycare center in Azle following her retirement. She was an avid reader and loved crocheting and playing Skip Bo. Agnes was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Jay and her granddaughter, Julie Fallin Kelsoe.Survivors: daughters, Dorothy Means and husband, Bobby of Odessa and Gloria Waskow and husband, Henry of Temple; son, Kenneth Fallin, Sr. and wife, Peggy of Bedford; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Herman Adams of Azle; sister, Hazel Broome of Fort Worth; numerous nieces and nephews.
