Eva Louise Kelley

Eva Louise Stephens Kelley, 92, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2006, after a short illness.In her younger years Louise was known as "Pud." She was born May 18, 1914 in Dennis, Texas, the daughter of William A. and Ora Grogan Stephens, both from pioneer Parker County families. Louise was a life long resident of Parker County and lived in Weatherford for the last 65 years. Louise enjoyed shopping, gardening and cooking. Her cooking skills consisted of simpler, Southern dishes and she was admired by friends and family for her fried chicken, red beans, cornbread and chocolate pie. During the last three years her greatest joy and fulfillment came from sharing time with her great grandson, Maxwell. She was an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church of Weatherford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. M.H. Kelley and is survived by son, Joe B. Huffstutler and wife, Janice of Dallas; granddaughter, Lori Grace Neace and husband, Mark of Dallas; and great grandson, Maxwell Neace of Dallas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and long time friend and caregiver, Sally Silvey of Weatherford.Memorial Services are scheduled 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Weatherford, Texas. The family will receive guests 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2006 at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford. Burial services are Private.
