James Arthur Chappell

James Chappell, Jr., 42, of Springtown, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, August 15, 2006 in Wise County.Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 18 at Outreach of Love Church. Burial will follow at Annis Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m., Thursday at White's Funeral Home in Springtown. James was born December 5, 1963 in Long Beach, Calif, son of James and Brenda Chappell, Sr. He graduated from Rubidoux High School in Riverside, Calif. James was a very loving family man, also loving all animals, especially his five dogs. He was a people person, loving, honest and open. As a result, James had a host of friends and family who loved him dearly. James was a member of Outreach of Love Church and was extremely happy with his relationship with his Lord. His grandparents preceded him in death.Survivors include his wife, Joyce Chappell; children, Brandi Walker, Joshua Cain, Sarah K Walker, Sarah Chappell, and Willie Chappell; six grandchildren, Clay, Hannah, Madison, Megan, Hayley and Tori; parents, James and Brenda Chappell, Sr.; sister, Renee Trapasso and husband, David; brother, Bill Chappell and wife, Jessie; sister-in-law, Lisa France and husband, Kevin; mother and father in-law, Ken and June Metcalf; nieces, Kina, Mary Ellen, Kelsi Jayne, Lily Mae; nephews, Billy, Tyler, Kenny, Tommy; great-niece, Paige; and numerous extended family and friends. Jim will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
