Delbert Pell, 82, a loving husband, father and grandfather, died Tuesday, August 22, 2006 in White Settlement.Funeral: 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 25 at The Church of Azle. Burial: Community Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, at White's Azle Funeral Home. Delbert was born August 29, 1923 in DeLeon to Charlie and Ettie Pell. He served his country in world War II in the United States Army. Delbert worked construction and roadwork. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Buddy, sisters, Dorothy Turner and Lorlane "Topsy" Baker and daughter, Carolyn Jean Pell.Survivors: wife, Billie Pell of Fort Worth; sons, Eddie Pell and wife Diane of Overton, Gene Stephens of Azle; daughters, Shirley Mason and husband, Kenneth of Newark, Tina Albright and husband, James and Amanda Miller and husband, Bobby all of Azle; seventeen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren brother, Donald Pell; sister, Helen Jean Cooper.
