John Wayne Robison, 81, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 23, 2006 in Fort Worth. Graveside Services: 10:00 a.m., Friday at Memory Gardens. John Wayne Robison was born September 25, 1924 in Brown County, the son of James and Carria Robison. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Army Air Corps as a flying technical sergeant. Mr. Robison was a radar operator on the first night fighter, the P61 Black Widow. He installed vehicle washers in Grand Central Station in New York City and one for trucks in the Panama Canal. Mr. Robison loved his family and grandchildren dearly and had a great love for animals. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Robison; his parents; and all his brothers and sisters. Survivors: Daughters, Barbara Pittman and husband, Michael of Granbury, Erma Perry and husband, J.B. of Springtown, Melissa Robison of Ft. Worth; grandsons, Danny Pittman of Weatherford, Bryce Perry and wife, Amanda of Wichita Falls; granddaughters, Debbie Chesney and husband, Tate of Ft. Worth, Jennifer Hudson and husband, Bill of Burleson; five great-grandsons; and a host of other loving family member and friends.
