Melvin A. McCasland

Rev. M. A. McCasland was a resident of Weatherford, Texas and member of First Baptist Church of Weatherford. He passed away Friday, August 25th at the age of 86. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Nadine McCasland. Sons: Jay McCasland and wife Carolyn of Longview, Tx.Roger McCasland and wife Linda of Weatherford, Tx.Nick McCasland and wife Brooklyn of Paradise, Tx.Daughters: Rita Ogden and husband Noral of Okemah, Ok.Londa McElwee and husband Danny of New Boston, Tx.2 brothers and 4 sisters, 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildrenMelvin McCasland touched too many peoples lives to name. Not only was he a special father and husband, he was a servant of the Lord for many years. The Lord used him to influence the hearts and lives of many people young and old. He will be greatly missed, but has left his mark on a great number of people. The service will be at First Baptist Church of Weatherford on Tuesday, August 29, at 10:30 AM and the graveside services will be on Wednesday, August 30th at Wetumka Cemetery, in Wetumka, Oklahoma.
