BLUE MOUND -- Wallace Dean Minze, 58, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2006 in Blue Mound. Funeral: 1:00 p.m., Thursday at White's Springtown Chapel. Burial: Annis Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at White's Funeral Home. Wallace was born January 11, 1948 the son of the late R.Q. and Eldridge Marcum Minze in Ft. Worth. He worked for the ambulance service in Springtown and later took the contract to run it. Mr. Minze was responsible for bringing the ambulance service up to EMT standards and then to Paramedic service, serving as the first paramedic in Springtown. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tillie and Doyle Minze; nephews, David Minze and Chris Cooper; step-father, R.C. Parnell. Survivors: Pamela Minze of Springtown; son, Tommy Minze of Springtown; granddaughter, Ashlie Minze of Ft. Worth; dear friend, Jeff Isaacs of Lakeside; Ashlie's mother, Dawn Lowrey of Ft. Worth; brother, Michael Minze and wife, Bobbie of Burleson; sister, Carol Ann Jordan and husband, Mike of Boyd; father-in-law, Thomas Turner; sisters-in-law, Sandra Minze and Barbara Minze, both of Springtown, Vickie Harms, Carla Hunt and husband, Don, and Patti Philpot, all of Springtown; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
