Ronnie King

Ronnie King, 63, a loving husband and father, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006.Ronnie was born September 27, 1942 in Baird, Texas the son of Millard G. and Edith Crawford King. He retired from Bell Helicopter Textron after 38 years of service. Ronnie was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was also a knife, gun and coin collector. He was preceded in death by his father, Millard G. King Jr. in 1989 and grandmother, Maude Hannaford in 1983.Ronnie is survived by his wife, Deborah Durant King of Weatherford; children, Angie King of Longview, Darrell King and wife, Mandy of Mansfield, Traci Portman of Lake Whitney, Kristi Martinez and husband, John of Flint; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; mother, Edith Crawford King Courington and husband, Sam of San Antonio; brother, Ray G. King of San Antonio; and a niece and nephew.Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2006 in the White's Chapel of Memories, Weatherford. Burial will follow in the Tin Top Cemetery. Ronnie's family will receive guests 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
