Donley E. Gandee

Donley E. Gandee, 80, an area farmer, died Thursday, September 14, 2006. Donley retired from Lockheed in 1984.Donley Everett Gandee was born June 10, 1926 in Adell, Texas, son of the late Lee Britt Gandee and Dollie Ida Johnson Gandee. Donley married Bertie Marguerite Mitchell on February 20, 1948.He was preceded in death by his parents and ten brothers and sisters.Mr. Gandee is survived by his wife, Bertie Gandee of Weatherford; sons, Everett Gandee II, Wesley Gandee, Joe Gandee and wife, Karin, and Roger Gandee and wife, Jane; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Hudgins; and numerous nieces, nephews and many loving friends.Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Monday, September 18, 2006 in White's Chapel of Memories, Weatherford. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home.
