SPRINGTOWN -- Frances Ashcraft Adams, 79, a retired barber, passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2006, in Azle. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in White's Springtown Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home. Frances was born Aug. 2, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Annie Ashcraft. She was a longtime Springtown resident and owner of Springtown Barbershop. Frances was a member of Rosen Heights Baptist Church in Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Adams; sister, Evelyn Stanley; and brother, J.E. Ashcraft, Jr. Survivors: Children, Steve Adams of Lueders and Patricia Huddleston, Sue Parker and David Adams, all of Paradise; sister, Lola Farris of Springtown; brothers, Eddie Ashcraft of Springtown and Kenneth Ashcraft of La Junta; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
