Eugene Button, 75, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006 in Fort Worth. Eugene Button was born April 8, 1931 the son of Joseph and Anna Shepard Button in Pomona, Kansas. He was a longtime resident of Weatherford. Eugene served his country honorably in the Korean War. He retired from Northrup Aviation; his career included extensive world travel. Mr. Button was an avid gardener, traveler, and lover of his grandchildren and animals. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and two sisters. Eugene is survived by his wife, Gloria Button of Weatherford; sons, Chuck Hultberg, Mike Hultberg; daughters, Cheryl Duarte and Kathy Hendrick, all of California; grandchildren, C.J., Tanner, and Cassy Hultberg, and Kristina Duarte; sister, Lily Tucker and husband, Harley of Kansas; nieces and nephews, Doug and Sharon Hamerman and family of Weatherford, Ben and Sandra Deal and family of Grand Prarie, Don and Bonnie Hamerman and family of Arkansas, Melvin and Kay Cantrell and family of Weatherford, and George and Diane McKelvey and family of Mineral Wells; also survived by his beloved five cats and two dogs.Funeral services are scheduled 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 19, 2006 at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
