Betty Jean Osborne

Betty Jean Osborne, (Grandma Betty) 74, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, October 14, 2006.Her funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Castle Hills Baptist Church. Burial will be at Ash Creek Cemetery. She will lie in state 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Betty was born February 7, 1932 in Kaufman, County to King and Essie Heffington. She retired from the City of North Richland Hills where she worked for twenty-one years in the water department. Betty loved gardening and spending time with her familyâ??especially her great-grandchildren. Her son, Clinton Osborne preceded her in death.Survivors: son, Jack Osborne of Gresham, Ore.; daughter, Barbara Plowman of Fort Worth; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Turnage and husband, Calvin of Azle, Barbara Ann Spindle of Seattle, Wash.; brothers, Kenneth Heffington of West Memphis, Ark. and Danny Heffington and wife, Jackie of Azle.
