WEATHERFORD -- Lurra Lee Holcomb, 85, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, in Weatherford. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Burial: Center Point Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home. Lurra Lee Holcomb was born Feb. 20, 1921, the daughter of Gee and Ethylene Moore in Fort Worth. She was a graduate of Northside High School, a past member of Free Will Baptist Church and Zoe Life Ministries in Weatherford. Lurra Lee was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Wayne Moore. Survivors: Husband of 68 years, Weldon; daughter, Lynnell Strauss of Fort Worth; sons, Jerry Holcomb and wife, Terri of Mansfield, La., Jim Holcomb and wife, Linda of Weatherford; sister, Pauline Fowler of Plano; brothers, Bill Moore of Granbury and Dub Moore of Waco; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren
