Mildred Earlene Grubis

Earlene Robinson Grubis, 87, a retired bookkeeper, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 in Azle.Graveside Service:10:00 A.M.Thursday at Veal Station Cemetery. Earlene was born March 3, 1919 in Parker County to Med and Lesca Robinson. She attended school at Highland Community and graduated from Azle High School in 1936. Earlene married Thurman Grubis August 6, 1949. She was a resident of Fort Worth until 1961 and worked as a bookeeper for City Packing and Estes Packing Companies. Earlene was a longtime member of the Church of Christ. The family would like to give special thanks to her dedicated caregivers, Opal Baloga, Gail Moore and Linda Wortham.Survivors: loving husband of 57 years, Thurman Grubis; children, Diane Eskue and husband, John, Jerry Grubis and wife, Deana; grandchildren, Toby Grubis, Jay Grubis and Christopher Eskue; brothers, Owen Robinson of Mineral Wells, Guy Robinson and wife, Wyvonne of Fort Worth and Wayne Robinson and wife, Winnie of Azle; and eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews
