Lois Mae Marshall AZLE -- Lois Mae Marshall, 78, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2006 after a brave battle with cancer. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Reno. Burial: New Hope Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Lois was born November 26, 1927 in Springtown and was a longtime resident of Azle. She was valedictorian of the Azle class of 1945. Lois retired after 25 years of loyal service from Winn Dixie. She was a lifelong Christian and was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church. Lois was a devoted mother who enjoyed gardening and fellowship with family and friends. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Ed Marshall, parents, Willie and Eula Hall and brother, Waymond Hall. Survivors: son, Eddie Marshall of Azle; daughter, Carol Mathes and husband, Dwayne of Azle; grandchildren, Carissa Widner and husband, William of Azle, D'Ann White and husband, Daniel of Eagle Pass, Kevin Marshall and Charles Marshall, of Dallas; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Vonnie Faye Wymer of Protection, Kansas; sister-in-law, Helen Marshall of Ft. Worth; and a large group of extended family, friends, nieces, and nephews.
