Samuel Carlton Johnson

Samuel C. "Carlton" Johnson of Dripping Springs, Texas was born on April 29, 1928 in Abilene, Texas and passed away on November 5, 2006 after a long battle with cancer and heart problems. Carlton graduated from Millsap High School in 1945, Weatherford College in 1947 and Texas Tech University in 1950. Carlton was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years Sally Johnson and his daughter Lauren Montz.He is survived by his son, David Johnson and his wife Andrea Johnson of Houston; his daughter Melinda Johnson; and his mother Hassie Johnson of Weatherford; granddaughter, Corina Johnson, two grandsons, Bryan and Daniel Montz; brother, Wesley Johnson; and long time friend and companion Lazetta Church. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday November 8, 2006 at Brock Cemetery.
