Thomas C. Flanagan III

Thomas C. Flanagan III, 77, a loving husband and father, died Sunday, November 5, 2006 at Azle.Memorial Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday, Nov.10 at White's Azle Chapel. Graveside Service: 10:30 A.M. Thursday, Nov. 9 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, Nov 8 at White's Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Gideons International, PO Box 122, Weatherford, TX 76086 or Union Gospel Mission.Thomas was born June 21, 1929 in Stamford, Conn. to Thomas and Anita Flanagan. He served in the United States Navy from 1947 until 1967. After he retired from the Navy, he was employed with General Dynamics for approximately 2 years. Thomas was also employed in custodial services for the Azle ISD. He attended Northwest Bible Church in Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors: wife of 47 years, Mary A. Flanagan of Azle; daughters, Susan and Kelly Flanagan of Greensboro, NC.; sister, Anita Vacca of Stamford, Conn.; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
