Gwen Wright

Gwen Wright, 78, a loving mother, grandmother, and great- great grandmother, passed away Monday, November 6, 2006 at her Granbury home.Era Gwendolyn Bowen Wright was born June 10, 1926 in Lavonia, Ga. the daughter of the late Durant and Florence Carnes Bowen.Gwen was a retired nurse, working in her husband's medical clinic, a homemaker, and loving wife and mother.She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. C.B. Wright; parents, five brothers, one sister, and great grandson, Tony Vanucci.Gwen is survived by her son, Dave Moore and wife, Judy of Colleyville, Texas; daughters, Cathy Spivey and husband, Gene of Irving, Texas, and Lisa Parrish and husband, John of Evant, Texas; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brothers, George Bowen of Knoxville, TN and Hugh Bowen of Atlanta, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.Graveside services are scheduled 10 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2006 in the Franklin Memorial Gardens, Lavonia, Ga.
