Rachel Linnie Warren

Rachel Warren, 89, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, in Mineral Wells. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at White's Mineral Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Rachel Warren was born Nov. 23, 1916, in Palo Pinto County, the daughter of David and Effie Snider. Rachel, a lifelong resident of Palo Pinto County, passed away on the same family-owned property where she was born and reared. She was married to "Tuck" Warren for over 64 years. Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.R. "Tuck" Warren; sister, Retha Brown; brother, Alvis Snider; and grandson, Ron Palmer. Survivors: Son, Randy Warren and wife, Lou, of Mineral Wells; daughter, Frances Palmer and husband, Joe, of Mineral Wells; grandsons, Michael Palmer and wife, Judy, of Lubbock, Derrick Palmer and wife, Amy Lansing, of San Diego, Calif., Will Warren and wife, Jennifer, of Mineral Wells, Rhett Warren of Mineral Wells; great-grandsons, Ryan Goldston, Christian Palmer, Colton Palmer, all of Lubbock; brothers, David Snider and wife, Louise, of Garner, Elmore Snider and wife, Elaine, of Mineral Wells; and sister-in-law, Ruth Warren Glidewell of Mineral Wells.
