Mae "Mamaw" Fair, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at a local hospital.Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday in White's Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail. Burial: 3 p.m. in Throckmorton County Memorial Cemetery, Throckmorton. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mae Fair was born May 14, 1918 in Navarro County, the daughter of the late Malcolm "Mack" and Minnie Cole. She was a member of First Street Baptist Church in Graham and had resided in Azle since 1976. Mae and Jessie Fair were married in 1941 and together they started their family.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie "Bud" Fair, in October of 1983; twin son and daughter, Don James and Judy Carol Fair; parents; sisters, Cready and Effie; and brothers, Earl and Sy.Survivors: Sons, Curtis E. Fair and wife, Maxie, of Azle, Richard A. Fair and wife, Aleta, of Azle, Larry J. Fair and wife, Deborah, of Throckmorton and Jerry M. Fair and wife, Sue, of Azle; grandchildren, John M. and Christopher L. Simpson, James C. Fair, Susan M. Crutchfield, Stephen R., Matt B., and Andrew N. Fair, Jason D. Hooper, Aimee N. Childress, Janey N. and Jessie Fair; great-grandchildren, Justin C. Simpson, Alison Simpson, Stephen Tyler, Paige Renee Fair, Mason Fair, Makenzee Fair, Jacob D. Hooper, Brandon Childress, Nathan Scott Crutchfield, Cameron Childress, Ethan Childress, Jorden Lynn Hooper, and Jacob Dale Hooper; sisters, Florence Tate of Graham and Jean Laminack of Indianapolis, Ind.; brother, Virgil Cole of Tyler; and a host of loving family members and friends.
