Jay M. Estus

Jay M. Estus, 76, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, you may make donations in Jay's name to the American Heart Association.Jay was born in Andes, N.Y., on May 31, 1930. He retired from the Air Force with 22 years of service as chief master sergeant. Jay was a Korean and Vietnam veteran. He was a graduate of UTA with a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice. Jay and wife, Donna, have lived in Azle for 10 years and are members of LaJunta Baptist Church. He played with the Red River Rangers Senior Softball League for several years. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday in LaJunta Baptist Church, LaJunta. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane B. Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home.
