Ruth Ellen Glidewell

Ruth Glidewell, 88, a housewife, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2006 in Mineral Wells. Funeral will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday at White's Mineral Wells Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Ruth Glidewell was born April 22, 1918 the daughter of Dean and Mary Warren. She was the fourth generation born and raised in Palo Pinto County. Ruth was a member of Central Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. D. "Doc" Glidewell. Survivors include her sons, William E. Glidewell and wife, Shirley of Lewisville, Elton Glidewell and wife, Mary Don of Mineral Wells, John Dean Glidewell and wife, Tammy of Colleyville; daughter, Sarah Sue Brewton and husband, Woodrow of Lorena; grandchildren, Edward, Jennifer, and Jessica Glidewell, Kenneth Brewton; great-grandchildren, Whitney, Casey, Maelyn and Charley Jo Brewton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
