Arle L. Waters

SSG. Arle L. Waters, 76, a loving father and grandfather passed away Sunday, December 31, 2006 in Plano.Graveside Service: 11:00 A.M. Thursday in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home. SSG. Arle L. Waters was born November 9, 1930 in Van Buren, Ark. the son of the late Hugh and Francis Waters. He served more than 30 years in the Military. SSG. Waters had been a resident of Springtown for 17 years and enjoyed gardening and was infatuated with ghost towns. He had been a member of the VFW while he lived in Arizona. SSG. Waters liked antique cars and owned a 1937 Oldsmobile. He was preceded in death by his son, William Boyd Waters, his parents and brothers, Darryl and Hugh Waters.Survivors: daughter, Kathy Pressley and husband, Elvis of Springtown; son, Billy Loar and wife Brandi of Saginaw; daughter, Shelly Waters of Granbury, Tina O'Hara and husband, Jack of Tucson, Ariz.; son, James Waters of Fort Worth; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of family members and friends.
