Jimmy N. Smartt, 64, passed away Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday in White's Springtown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Jimmy Smartt was born Oct. 19, 1942, in Batesville, Ark., the son of Willie and Bessie Doremus Smartt. He was a longtime resident of North Texas. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 43 years, Loretta; and two sisters. Survivors: Son, Tim Smartt and wife, Susan, of Graford; daughter, Debra Smartt of Springtown; grandchildren, Jimmy Don, Lisa, T.J., Cortni and Leah Jo Smartt; three brothers; and five sisters.
