Fannie Louise Ketzler Richards, 100, a loving mother and grandmother, died Sunday, February 11, 2007 in Mineral Wells. Funeral: 3:00 P.M. Monday in White's Mineral Wells Chapel. Burial: Elmwood Cemetery. Fannie was born November 7, 1906. She graduated from Weatherford High School and Weatherford Business School, while working in the County School office in the Weatherford County Court House in Parker County. She met R. F. Richards, whom she married,they settled in Mineral Wells, established their business and raised their family of 2 girls and 1 boy. Fannie was active in the Mineral Wells PTA and was a Home Room Mom, baking cookies and helping with the yearly Halloween Carnival at Houston Elementary School. The State PTA Organization recognized her for her valuable contribution to that organization with an award. She was a long time member of the local Home Demonstration Club and the Garden Club of Mineral Wells. Fannie was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mineral Wells. Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, R.F. (Bob) Richards, granddaughter, Kimberly Jewell Singletary. Survivors: son, Robert L. Richards and wife, Wanda; daughters, Betty Jane Moore and Barbara Jewell Singletary and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Lynda Winn, Kelly Stults, Russell Richards, Eric G. Moore, Cindy Flinchum, Paul D. Moore and Kent B. Singletary; fifteen great-grandchildren.
