Jimmy D. White, 70, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Stinnett. Burial: Stinnett Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Springtown Funeral Home and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Chapel in Stinnett. Jimmy was born July 1, 1936, in Plainview, the son of Eugene and Pearl Anderson White. He lived in Springtown for eight years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Springtown. Mr. White was a good-hearted man who welcomed extended family and children into his home in times of need. In addition to being a big fan of John Wayne, he collected knives. Mr. White was preceded in death by his son, Dennis White, and father, Eugene White. Survivors: Wife of 44 years, Louaida White of Springtown; children, Kevin White and wife, Deanna, of Florissant, Colo., Antler White of Springtown, Colene Dodd and husband, Don, of Garland and Katie White and Shane McNeely, both of Springtown; grandchildren, Daniel White, Savannah White, Deanna Dodd, Keeleigh White, Jessica White and Macie McNeely; great-granddaughter, Cadence Dodd; sister, Dena Thomas of Stinnett; mother, Pearl White of Stinnett; and numerous nieces and nephews
