James Cecil Sims

James C Sims, 76, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 20, 2007. Graveside Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. Burial: Fairview Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. James was born April 1, 1930 in Olney the son of Cecil and Troye Underwood Sims. He retired from Lone Star Gas. Survivors: wife of 55 years, Virgie Glee Sims; daughter, Rebecca Bailey and husband, Clarence of Springtown; grandson Jonathan Bailey of Springtown; sisters, Joyce Rogers of Tyler, Flora Mae Knabe of Muenster; nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
