Josephine Ortiz Valtierra

Josephine Ortiz Valtierra, passed away in the early morning hours of Ash Wednesday, February 21, 2007. Josie is now visiting and rejoicing with her mother, Soledad Ortiz and father, Conrado Ortiz; her son, Cristobal; and brothers and sisters, Mike and Conrado Jr. and Mercedes Saenz, in His eternal presence. Josie entered this life on March 19, 1942 in Millsap, Texas and married Eufemio on April 1, 1967. Her son, Cristobal lost his life in a tragic accident in December 1, 1991, and event which affected her for the balance of her life.Josie will remain in the hearts and prayers of her husband, Eufemio Valtierra; her daughter, Michel Kinder and husband, Matt; granddaughters, Brittany and Christian Schimmelbusch and Madison Kinder. Also remembering Josie are her sisters, Connie Delgado, Tomasa Gonzalez and Lupe Trevino; brothers, Steve Ortiz, Bernado Ortiz and Juan Ortiz; and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2007 at St. Stephens Catholic Church with interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation will be at White's Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. followed by the reciting of the rosary at 7:00 p.m.
