Jordan Lee Shackelford

Jordan Lee Shackelford, 18, a loving daughter, sister, niece and granddaughter, passed away Friday, February 23, 2007 in Fort Worth.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at The Church of Peaster. Burial will be in Gibtown Cemetery, Jack County. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to the Jordan Shackelford Memorial Fund at the First Bank in Springtown.Jordan was born May 29, 1988 in Wichita Falls to Marvin and MichelleShackelford. She was a longtime resident of Wise County. Jordan had beenin drill team since she was 5 years old. She was an All AmericanCheerleader in Poolville and had performed in Orlando, Fla. at the CapitalOne Bowl. Jordan had been a member of the dance team at Perrin HighSchool, was named in Who's Who in American High Schools and was also anhonor roll student. She was attending Weatherford College as a freshmanwith plans to teach Art in a local elementary school.Survivors: parents, Michelle West of Perrin and Marvin Shackelford ofWichita Falls; brother, Ty West of Perrin; sister, Mayci Shackelford ofWichita Falls; brother, Blane Maxwell of Wichita Falls; grandparents,Wayne and Marie King of Okla. and Frank and Barbara Marcotte of WichitaFalls and Mildred Shackelford of Okla; also numerous aunts, uncles,friends and extended family.
