Darwin Potter

Darwin Potter, 62, a ranch manager, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, March 15, 2007 at a Weatherford hospital.Darwin Felton Potter was born April 3, 1944, in Crosbyton, Texas, son of the late, Felton and Opal Potter. He was a faithful ranch manager for LAB Land and Cattle Company for many years. He was a volunteer fireman, serving as assistant chief of the Poolville Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Gibtown Baptist Church.Mr. Potter is survived by his sons, Tommy Potter and wife, Kathy of Paradise, Cody Potter and wife, Suzanne of Fort Worth, Shawn Potter of Lubbock; daughters, Lisa Browning and husband, John of Mineral Wells and Rhonda Bearden of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Janette Waldie and Deborah Patterson.Funeral services are scheduled 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at First Baptist Church, Weatherford. Burial will be in Heaven's Gate Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
