Alvis Dale Grover, 67, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007, at a local care facility. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday in White's Azle Chapel. Burial: Ash Creek Cemetery, Azle. Alvis Dale Grover was born Sept. 7, 1939, in Oklahoma. Alvis moved to Texas 46 years ago and resided in Azle for the last 41 years. He made his career in a supervisory position with Tandy Leather for better than 20 years. Alvis was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Son Grover. Survivors: Son, Jeff Grover and wife, Deanna, of Azle; daughters, Cynthia Hamm of Saginaw, Sonya Wilson of Azle, Stephonie Grover and Shanel Grover, both of Fort Worth; grandson, Mark Hard and wife, Heather, of Burleson; granddaughter, Crystal Hamm of Saginaw; grandson, Travis Hamm of Fort Worth; granddaughter, Jordan Grover; granddaughter, Kendall Wilson; grandson, Kanyen Wilson; granddaughter, Molly Grover, all of Azle; great-grandson, Alan Kye Hard of Burleson; six brothers and sisters from Oklahoma; and a host of loving family and friends.
