An only child born in 1922 to Martha Jane Stillwell, a college educated widow who raised her daughter as a single mother on a teacher's salary. After school she went to Los Angeles where she met Howard LaVoie. They married in 1941, he became a music teacher, later a salesman. In 1946, Carol June was born and in 1951, Carla Rae appeared. Virginia worked at AT&T for 30 years and enjoyed her life by dancing, swimming, traveling and being with family and friends. Before the dementia she lived a long and exciting life, always enjoying the moments. She would not want us to cry, only for us to know that she is up there doing the tango, or some spicy salsa number with her husband and laughing it up with all those who went before her. She will be missed. Survivors: Besides her two daughters, she leaves behind five grandchildren, Gina Howald, Tena Webb, Dax Howald, LeAnn DeBock, Howard DeBock; two great-grandchildren, Olivia Webb and Lucille Webb.White's Funeral Home Springtown, 817-220-7111
