George Claude Philley

George Claude Philley, 78, went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, March 21, 2007.George Claude Philley was born May 4, 1928 in Swartzs, Louisiana, son of the late Bernice L. and Nogie Philley. He has lived in the Weatherford community since 1948. He retired from Lockheed after 43 years of service. George was a song leader and Deacon for Cleark Fork Baptist Church.Survivors include wife, Hazel "Rose" Philley of Weatherford; daughter, Gloria Philley; daughter, Debbie Jackson of Waxahachie; granddaughter, Toni Jackson; great grandson, Cameron Jackson; grandson, Mike Hughes; great granddaughter, Tessa Hughes; grandson, Rick Morton; stepdaughter, DeVonna Tinskey and husband, Timothy of Weatherford; step granddaughter, Keli Guilbeau; step great grandchildren, Kayla, Ronnie and Ruby Guilbeau of Weatherford.Funeral services are scheduled 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2007 at Clear Fork Baptist Church, 100 Ragle Road, Weatherford, Texas. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007 at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Clear Fork Baptist Church, 100 Ragle Road, Weatherford, Texas 76087.
