Louise Vereen

Louise Vereen passed from this life at the age of 86, on April 6, 2007, in the presence of family.Louise was born in Poolville, Texas to Lowell and Nettie Rogers. She was known as an outstanding teacher, cook, artist, and accomplished pianist. She loved to garden and play "42", never missing a Peach Festival tournament.Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jack Vereen, and two brothers and two sisters. Louise is survived by her son, Charlie Vereen of Weatherford and children, Celeste and Brian; daughter, Deborah Alexander and husband, Mike of Lakeside and sons, Travis and Justin; son, Dr. Lowell Vereen of Texarkana; and daughter, Anne Vereen of Poolville and children, Emmanuel and Angelica.Funeral services are scheduled 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Poolville United Methodist Church, Poolville, Texas. Burial will follow in the Poolville Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
