Horace T. Rose

Horace T. Rose, 67, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at his residence.Funeral service will be at 4:00 P.M. Saturday in White's Azle Chapel. Burial will be in Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at White's Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Alpha Omega Hospice.Horace was born in 1940 to Oda and Stella Rose in Fort Worth. He attended schools in Bluff Springs and Lake Worth High School. Horace honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He married the love of his life Veronia in 1963. Horace retired from Alcon Laboratories as Facilities Electrical Manitenance Supervisor in 1998. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Barto B. Rose in 1978 and Gene R. Rose in 2005; a sister, Frances M. Winnett in 1988.Survivors: wife, Veronia Johnson Rose of Poolville; son, Wesley T. Rose of Saginaw; daughter, Kimberly B. Rose of Poolville; sister, Dorothy E. Blair of Midland; grandchildren, Natalie, Caitlin, Kevin, and Sheridan; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
