Glenn Franklin Brown , 86, a retired Senior Master Sargent, died Saturday, April 14, 2007 in Weatherford.Funeral: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday in White's Springtown Chapel. Burial: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in DFW National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. Glenn was born in 1921 in St. Paul, Minn. and lived in the Fort Worth area for 49 years. He served in the 20th Air Force in World War II in the Pacific theater of operations. Glenn was awarded three air medals, the Presidential Citation, Distinguished Flying Cross and was a Tail Gunner and mechanic in 16 missions over Japan. After retiring from the Air force with 20 plus years of service, he worked for Haliburton and retired in 1978. Glenn bought an 18 wheeler and was an owner operator for 13 years. He loved horses, music and his family. Survivors: wife of 63 years, Euradean Brown; sons, Lanny and Jerry of Springtown; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
