Allen Lee Suggs

d. April 15, 2007

Allen Suggs, 78, a retired Air Force technical sergeant, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2007, in Weatherford. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cornerstone Community Church. Burial: 2:30 p.m. in D/FW National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. Allen Suggs was born April 13, 1929, in Birmingham, Ala., the son of John and Elise Trull Suggs. He was a U.S. Postal Service mail handler. Mr. Suggs attended Cornerstone Community Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. He was a huge sports fan, and he loved gardening, his animals and the great outdoors. Mr. Suggs was proud to do all his own mechanical work. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; a sister; daughter, Carla Elise; infant daughter, Lee Ann; and infant sons, Allen Jeff, Ronnie Earl and Richard Mark. We will miss the love, laughter and compassion Daddy gave to all those whose lives he touched. May our hearts be comforted knowing his departure is now heaven's choir celebration. The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Ray Page and staff at The Center for Cancer and Blood disorders of Weatherford for their care, love and support. Survivors: Loving wife of 51 years, Marie of Springtown; cherished family, Pat Morrison of Springtown, Cyndi Evans and husband, Billy, of Hurst, Karen "K.C." Moreland and partner, Brian, of Raleigh, N.C., Rusty Suggs and partner, Scott Brown, of Springtown; grandchildren, Chelley Morrison, Arlen Evans, Dakotah Lee Suggs-Brown; great-grandchildren, Michaela Hutton, Bryce Yost; brother, Earl Suggs; and many nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
