Dorothy Mae Muelschen, 86, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at a local care facility. Dorothy Mae Logan Muelschen was born April 21, 1921, in San Antonio, the daughter of the late Dewey and Annie Elma Cole Muelschen. Since 1953, Dorothy had been a resident of Weatherford, where she taught Sunday school at Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a very caring mother and was active with her sons in Cub Scouts. Dorothy was also a member of several ladies' garden clubs. Dorothy and the late E.K. Muelschen were married in San Antonio on Feb. 7, 1943. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, E.K. Muelschen, in 1990; parents; and sister, Shirley Tapp. Survivors include Sons, Karl Muelschen Jr. of Weatherford and David Muelschen and wife, Kathy, of Benbrook; grandson, Brett Muelschen of Weatherford; granddaughter, Stephanie Shade and husband, Gary, of Benbrook; great-granddaughters, Haley, Hannah, Olivia, Sydney, Trinity and Casey; sisters, Alma Tapp and husband, Ray, of Azle and Stella Campbell of Fort Worth; and many nieces, nephews, loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in White's Chapel of Memories, Weatherford. Burial will be in Memory Gardens of the Valley Memorial Park, Weatherford. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
