John D. Berry

John D. Berry, 89, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007.Born March 3, 1918 in San Antonio, Texas, a graduate of Jefferson High School, John served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He worked for MOPAC RR for 38 years. John married Martha Boling in 1946 and resided in San Antonio before moving to Weatherford in 2002. John was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner. He loved going to Cutting Horse shows and watching the Dallas Mavricks.John was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Martha.Survivors include daughters, Nancy Clayton of Weatherford and Mary Stuart of Broken Arrow, Okla.; granddaughter, Tamira Clayton of Denver, Co.; grandson, Thomas Bonomi of Broken Arrow, Okla.; great grandson, Damon Bonomi of Broken Arrow, Okla.; sister, Virginia Reitzer of Schertz; nieces, Carolyn Kelley and Janelle Kelley of Converse; nephews, Steve Reitzer of Converse and John Foor of Dallas.Graveside Services will be held 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007 in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
