Tommy Joe Fowler, 77, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 5, 2007 in Fort Worth. Tommy was born June 17, 1929 in Paducah, Texas to Seless Lane and Tom H. Fowler. The second of six boys, Tommy served in the United States Army and was preceded in death by his wife, Jo; both parents, and two brothers, James and Bruce Fowler. Tommy will be remembered for his great sense of humor, love of reading and love of family. Tommy was very active in the automotive industry in all phases. Most recently he was employed by the Weatherford ISD. He was a member of the Weatherford Lions Club and owner/operator of TJ's Quick Stop in Weatherford. Survivors include daughter, Nita Ferrell and husband, Jeff of Aledo; step-daughter, Debbie Riley of Hereford; brothers, Dale Fowler and wife, Betty of Granbury, Mack Fowler and wife, Peggy of Amarillo, David Fowler and wife, Shirley of Amarillo; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Burial will follow in the Aledo Brown Cemetery, Aledo. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home, Weatherford.
