Robert "Bobby" Isbill, 55, the owner of George's Muffler Shop, passed away Friday, May 25, 2007 at his home in Benbrook.Funeral: 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Restoration Family Church, 10201 FM 2871, also known as Jerry Dunn Parkway, Benbrook, Texas, 76126. Burial: Poe Prairie Cemetery in Milsap. Visitation: 1 to 3 P.M. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Restoration Family Church. Bobby Isbill, a highly regarded business man and owner of George's Muffler Shop died at his residence on Friday afternoon, May 25, of a heart attack at the age of 55. Bobby was born in Maryville, Tennessee on May 26, 1951. He and his siblings attended Castleberry Public School in the late 1960's. He married his childhood sweetheart, Cheryl Hebert Isbill, on July 17, 1970. To this union one child, Danielle Brooke Isbill, was born on January 22, 1982. On July 17, 2007 they would have celebrated their 38th anniversary. Bobby had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed people, and made friends throughout his life. He was outgoing, compassionate, and kind. Bobby often helped others in need without regard to personal recognition. He developed many lasting friendships. Bobby had been employed at General Portland Cement Company and Motheral Printing Company as well as the muffler shop since 1973. George's Muffler Shop has been a vible Southside family business for 34 years, because of our loyal customers and will continue to serve the community. Bobby attended Central Assembly of God during his childhood, he loved his family and the fellowship of his friends. One of his hobbies was racing his 1970 SS 454 Monte Carlo and he loved showing his muscle car. He had won several awards and prizes. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Ray Isbill. He will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.Survivors: loving wife, Cheryl Hebert Isbill; daughter, Danielle Brooke Isbill of Benbrook; mother, Anna Sue Goins of Fort Worth; siblings, James E. Isbill and wife, Anne of Fort Worth, Linda Isbill Trekell of Fort Worth, Delores Ann McEntire and husband, Donis of Richland Hills; nephew, Billy Watson; niece, Molly McEnitre; and a host of family and friends.
