Joseph Kenton Bradshaw, 92, a retired school teacher, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007 at his home in Springtown.Funeral: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at White's Springtown Chapel. Burial: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at White's Springtown Funeral Home. Kenton was born April 6, 1915 in Springtown. He retired after 37 years of teaching, starting at Springtown teaching Future Farmers and ended his teaching career in Boyd. His wife said,"she thought a teacher had influenced more lives than preachers". Kenton and his wife, Wilma moved back to Springtown when he retired in 1976. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Iris Carter, who was the mother of their sons, parents, S.E. (Stick) Bradshaw and Hassie Clark Bradshaw, his brothers, Robert, S.E. Jr., Troy, Ted, and Maurice Bradshaw; sister, Melba Doris Bradshaw and daughter, Voncil Donathan; Survivors: wife of 52 years, Wilma Paschall Bradshaw; children, Dr.Charles Marshall Bradshaw, Delbert Ray Bradshaw and wife, Mary, Edwin Dale Bradshaw, Vannoy Paschall and wife, Marilyn, Virginia Paschall Corker and husband Jerry, Wayne Donathan, who was the husband of their deceased daughter, Voncil Paschall; brother, William Edward (Bill) Bradshaw; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
