Mildred Beatrice Jones "Nana" Braswell, 89, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2007 in Azle with her family by her side. Graveside service: 2:00 P.M. Friday at Rendon Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Main, Springtown, Texas 76082. Mildred Beatrice Jones Braswell was born on September 11,1917 in Hugo, Okla. She will be remembered as a beloved sister, mother, aunt, and to most all that love her, NANA. Nana believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, and by her own notations left behind for her family, she wished for her life's value to be summed up not only by her servitude to the Lord, but also for her love of Jesus to be reflected in her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Randolph N. Braswell, her son, Vernon Braswell and 3 brothers, Robert, Doyle, and Leonard Jones. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Jewell and Bob Gathright; brother, Floyd Jones of Topeka, Kan.; half-brothers and sisters, Thomas and Harvey Jones, Betty Pope and Frances Power; nine grandchildren, Sheila, Bobby, Nancy, Kyle, Denise, Veda, Chris, Cindy, and Dale; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
