David Foley, 54, a loving husband, son and brother, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 at a hospital in Fort Worth.Funeral: 2:00 P.M. Friday in White's Azle Chapel. Burial: Jaybird Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at White's Azle Funeral Home. David was born September 16, 1952 in Mexia to Leon and Sadie Foley. He had lived in Azle since 1980. David liked to work in his yard. He had planted more than 500 pine trees on his property, he took great pride in his work. David collected old cars, and collected Hot Wheels when he could no longer take care of his cars. He married his wife, Shirley in 1975 and learned to tolerate her cats. David was preceded in death by his dad, Leon Foley; step-dad, Ray Mele in 1993.Survivors: wife, Shirley Foley of Reno; mother, Sadie Mele of Springtown; sisters, Tonya Oleksyn and husband, Tom of Perrin, Ayesha Boykin and husband, Paul of Fort Worth; nieces, Mary Oleksyn, Morgan Mayfield; nephew, Hayden Boykin; a host of loving family and friends.
