Mary Lou Thomas Hart

In loving memory of Mary Lou Thomas Hart, 82, who departed this earth on Sunday, July 1, 2007 in Duncanville.Mary Lou was born in Fort Worth, Texas on November 8, 1924 to Wesley and Mary Thomas. She was reared in Weatherford, Texas and moved to Dumas, Texas after her marriage in 1944 to Gorden Hart. Mary Lou worked for the Dumas Independent School District for 25 years before her retirement. After living in Dumas for 35 years the couple moved back to the Fort Worth area upon retirement, living in both Weatherford and Duncanville.Her parents, husband of 62 years, Gorden Hart, and infant son, Edgar Robert Hart preceded Mary Lou in death.Mrs. Hart is survived by her two daughters, Kay Miller and husband, Jay, of Whitney, Shirley Williams of Duncanville; four grandchildren, Kevin Miller of San Carlos, Calif., Julie Miller Chambers and husband, Gabe, of Oak Point, Krista Williams Wolf and husband, Michael, of Dallas, and Kelly Williams of Dallas; three great grandchildren, Kaleb, London, and Laurel Chambers; brother, Charles Thomas of Weatherford; sister, Betty Jean Burke of Weatherford; brother-in-law, Marshal Hart of Weatherford; and other loving family members.Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery, Weatherford. Mrs. Hart will lie in state beginning 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday for visitation.
