Anthony Brandon Perkins

Anthony Brandon Perkins, 38, of Weatherford passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2007.Brandon Perkins was born Nov. 20, 1968 in Riverside, Calif. Brandon was an avid outdoorsman and an accomplished fly fisherman. He enjoyed climbing and kayaking with friends. Brandon loved spending time on the river and in the mountains where he felt most at peace. Brandon was full of spirit and good nature. He treasured his relationships with family and friends. He was truly one of a kind. His presence will always be with us. Brandon will be missed more than he could ever know. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Doyle Beene; grandmother, Ola Mae Perkins; and cousin, Tracey Davis.Brandon is survived by his father, Newton Perkins II and wife, Melinda of Jacksboro; mother, Carol Peacock and husband, Benny of Weatherford; sister, Ashley Shetter and husband, Ken of Burleson; grandfather, Newton Perkins I of Weatherford; grandmother, Katie Beene of Weatherford; uncles, Richard Beene and wife, Glenda, Phil Perkins and wife, Kim; aunt, Becky Crow and husband, Bob; cousins, Jessica Crow and Star Lynn Bolt; best friend, Curtis Reeves and wife, Melisa; nieces and nephews; Alexis, Hogan, and Olivia Shetter. Memorial services are scheduled 2 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2007 at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. The family will receive guests 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
