Bruce Edward Therens

Bruce Edward Therens, 50, of Hudson Oaks, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2007 in Fort Worth.A long time Parker County Resident, Bruce honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan.He is survived by his parents, Edward and Janet Therens of Weatherford; ex-wife, Patty Burkhart of Weatherford; son, Billy Bowers and grandson, Dylan James Bowers, of Weatherford; son, Sean Therens of Weatherford; daughter, Miranda Strawbridge and husband, Robert and granddaughter, Alyssa Therens, of Weatherford; sisters, Debbie Davis and husband, George of New Caney, Texas, Candy Cain and husband, Tommy of Millsap, Carol Therens of Conroe; brothers, Eddie "Rabbit" Therens of Weatherford and Mark Therens of Fort Worth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Stepthens Catholic Church in Weatherford. Interment will be 1:30 p.m. in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane A.
